Our kitchen is the heart of this unique, yet cosy establishment. With its freshly brewed coffee and artisanal food, it provides locals and visitors with a spot to come together and enjoy the flavours of the season. The ingredients that we use for everything from our cakes and coffee to our sandwiches and burgers are sourced sustainably. Many of the veggies and herbs come from our very own garden, with the remainder being provided by local farmers or supermarkets. It is this seasonal availability that requires us to colourfully update our menu on a regular basis.

For those who are visiting Blantyre, the smell of locally sourced coffee beans can coax you from your dreams every morning. Each of our five fully furnished en-suite bedrooms provides a mix of luxury and comfort, allowing guests to feel right at home during a memorable vacation. Four of these rooms are fitted with double beds and one has a duo of single beds. Then there's the pool, the Malawian plant filled garden and the playground that surrounds Mijn Kitchen, providing the perfect place to relax and have fun after a day of meetings, an afternoon exploring the town, or a morning visiting friends and family.
